Empowering Disabled Persons and Women, SC/ST Communities
The Council for Skills and Competencies (CSC) focuses on supporting underrepresented community members across various ages and genders, including women and persons with disabilities, and SC/ST Communities who are often outside the traditional education system and organized workforce.
We provide them with essential skills to survive and thrive in the IR 4.0 and 5.0 world. By equipping them with future-ready skills and encouraging their participation in tech careers, we aim to address the existing skills gap and gender disparity in STEM fields. Our initiatives include targeted training programs, mentorship, and access to cutting-edge technology and resources, fostering an inclusive and empowered community prepared for the challenges of the modern workforce.
Key Initiatives
By targeting women and persons with disabilities, CSC aims to bridge the gender and skills gap in STEM careers.
The training encompasses both technical and non-technical skills, ensuring holistic development and enhanced career readiness.
CSC offers collaborative training programs for 3962 students belonging to SC/ST categories in collaboration with IEEE and NIELIT. These programs are delivered in online and blended modes to ensure accessibility and inclusivity.
Through these efforts, CSC is dedicated to building a skilled and inclusive workforce ready to meet the challenges of the future.
